This song is about my father leaving when I was almost 4 years old. And it's also about how my mother is amazing and did a great job at making things as good as she possibly could have for me.
The song also talks about problems that came up from my father leaving.

Chorus
You tripped and fell
And threw all this into an empty well
You left all of this
Behind to decay in piss

Verse 1
There once was a man
Who had defect
Destroying light
Like we've all done...
(we have broken, we've all fallen
and stabbed all our chances to pick it up)
Our roses wither
From the blizzard
The sun was blocked
By your head
Spiralling vaccum
Swirling away
Leaving destruction
Planting a seed of decay

Verse 2
It is birthing
It is scathing
It is freezing
It is failing
The pathetic
Is deflating

(Verse 2, Chorus)

Verse 3
There was a woman
Who had to stand up
Emitting light
Like we should do
(We must repair, we must sparkle
and embrace every chance to become)
Our roses wither
From the blizzard
Ray exposure
Embracing through her warmth
The strongest limb
Fulfilling past it's use
But I can still fall apart
If the weather lets me

Verse 4
The resin is too bitter
Far too bitter to inhale
The resin is too sticky
Far too sticky to throw away
